1994 introduced, the successor to the Audi 80 soon became a huge success, fueled by appealing looks, Audi quality and a wide spread selection of engines. The introduction of the A4 marked the conversion to the A4,6,... names.

The A4 of my friend with the 17" Avus rims of the S4. The S4 is powered by a 265hp turbo charged litre V6.

The A4 was only available in two different body styles, here shown as Avant. Several facelifts kept the A4 uptodate. This Avant has the clear-look headlights, while the white sedan above has the old "normal" headlights.

In continuation of the RS2 tradition, the name RS4 designates the once again beefed-up version of the S4 with 381hp. The twin-turbo V6 caters for breathtaking performance in the RS4 that is only available as Avant. The 18" rims simply look awesome :)
While the S4 differs from the standard A4 optically only with a different bumper and the rear view mirrors (either body colour or polished Aluminium), the RS4 does not even try to hide its muscles: Extreme fascias, side skirts, flared fenders all say, no scream Power!
